Kinship Academy
Kinship Academy is a nurturing learning environment that develops the whole child academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. The curriculum responds to the individual students learning needs by offering a variety of educational approaches: using children’s natural interests to build strengths and remediate weaknesses.
The focus is on building a solid personal foundation of knowledge and skills and a love of learning. Children use higher levels of thinking if they are challenged according to their developmental abilities, stimulated in their areas of interest, and given the respect and encouragement to question, investigate, invent, and make connections. Kinship Academy provides an environment where students are encouraged to question, to explore, and to follow logical paths to their own understandings.
